A little thin in mouth feel, but tasting decent. Lots of coffee and a bit of maple. Not a ton of barrel, very smooth and sweet. I missed the coconut entirely. I think this may have been the very last Forager release that didn't require a 15 hour line share - I miss those days.

poured from 750mL bottle into a taster. line share at forager. pours a dark brown with light brown edges. no head. smell is sweet with a bit of whiskey to it. taste is honey sweet with bourbon barrel-aged breakfast aromas. taste is similar. there is a lot going on in this beer, however, it does not get muddled or lose its way. there’s a really nice sweetness to it from the honey barrel, the maple and the vanilla with coffee and that typical porter roastiness to compliment it all. feel is amazingly thick for a porter. really impressed with that aspect of this beer. very tasty stuff. would love to revisit with a bigger pour.

Wow. This beer was fabulous. Pours thick, murky blackbwith a small minimal head. Mouthfeel is very thick. All the flavors roll through your palate. Maybe one of the 10 best beers I have ever had. Cannot find one fault with this beer
