In 2018 a group of people wanted to donate to a local Rochester charity and asked if we would brew them a beer for the donation. Being a supporter of the arts in Rochester, we accepted and their donation led to the installation of an iron sculpture catfish named Flathead in Kutzky Park installed by Arts 4 Trails. The sculpture lives permanently along the Cascade Creek bike trail just off 11th Ave NW. We aged a stout in Jack Daniels barrels for 15 months before conditioning it on vanilla beans, cold brew coffee and cinnamon.

Bottle pour. Tan head. Black color.
Really solid coffee notes. More vanilla that killerzzzzz showing. Chocolate and fudge. Cinnamon is faint. The barrels are solid, but I preferred the killerzzzzz barrels more. Very warming. Very enjoyable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
