Our first 100% spontaneous fermented Kriek style lambic was blended using 4 barrels selected from our 2017/2018 coolship brewing season, adhering to the Methode Traditonelle standards. After four months of conditioning on three pounds per gallon of Minnesota grown Jubilee tart cherries, this ale was bottle conditioned for 12 months with local wildflower honey. Rustic funk, earthy bitterness and layers of tart cherry jam are flavors you can expect while imbibing this treasure. Pair this cherry delight with grilled pork, Wensleydale cheese and a good laugh amongst old pals.

Bottle. Pink head. Cloudy burnt cherry red color.
Jammy cherry pie flavor. Light tartness. Very fruity, definitely not lacking in cherry. Musty with a light funk. Really solid kriek style offering from Forager. Very drinkable.
