Brewed with maple sap instead of water. Layered with caramel and chocolate malts before a carefully managed fermentation schedule. We coaxed flavors of Hostess Snowballs by conditioning this rich thick stout on toasted coconut, Marshmallows, boutique farmed Ugandan vanilla beans and wild harvested Belizean cocoa nibs.

Snowball Puddles pours black, with no head. Aroma is very sweet, maple. Flavor is sweet, and very thick and sticky. Lots of maple, some cacao, vanilla and a hint of coconut to finish. Good body and feel. Overall, a very big, thick, flavorful stout, sweet with lots of complex flavors mixed perfectly.

On tap. Thick and sludgy brown.
Fudge, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, chocolate.
Very thick. A bit rich. Dessert/pastry stout. A bit much. Sweet and cloying. 2 oz is plenty.

Poured from a 750mL growler into a forager pint glass.
Pours a opaque black body with a one finger brown head that reduces to leave a ring of retention.
Aromas are sweet and pastry forward, like walking into a candy shop. Mounds bars, sweet milk chocolate, lava cake, macaroon, candied sugar.
On the tongue it’s sweet, very sweet but not overly cloying. Maple candies, coconut cream pie, caramel, Hershey’s bars, boozy chocolate lava cake, finishing lightly roasty and leaving a sweet flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel is on point, rich and thick, you can tell it was brewed with a maple sap base.
A well executed pastry stout - a perfect fix for a sweet tooth. Dessert in a can.
