THanks to Jeff for this one.
750ml capped bottle into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Looks peachy. Big, white foamy head that dissipates quickly. Nose is peach, apricot pit, hay, and a prickly zestiness. Lightly funky. Beer opens funky. I get oak, a light, cheesy tartness, and stonefruit in the front. Apricot flesh and pit in the middle with a lightly bitter skin towards the back. More peach and apricot at the finish with a slight pucker in the aftertaste. Fantastically balanced. Not at all acidic and super fruit forward. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down puckering with a lingering aftertaste.
Really one of the better stonefruit sours I've had. This is excellent.
