Stagecoach Road is a blended Biere de Coupage aged on two different varieties of Wisconsin grown peaches. A wine barrel fermented spontaneous ale and an oak fermented mixed culture young saison were blended with Door County peaches for a month long maceration. We then bottled conditioned this wild ale with Minnesota wildflower honey for eight months. Expect this beer to exhibit flavors of tart peach with citrus tones and a funky, rustic, dry finish.

A big thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml capped and corked bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Pours a dark, clear goldenrod. 1 finger foamy white head dissipates quickly. Stringy and spotty lace with thin legs. Nose is oak, straw, lemon zest, wet wood, and cobwebs. Somehow this smells like lambic. I don't understand...... Super aromatic. Beer opens lemon and stone fruit. I get tart lemon, peach, and apricot up front. Oak, lemon zest, foam, and a cobweb-y yeastiness in the middle. Tart, slightly puckering end with an accented lemon and peppercorn finish and aftertaste. The taste matches the nose. This is incredible. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down aggressive and sparkling. Accented finish with a lingering, slightly filmy aftertaste.
There are so many "Am-Lam" makes nowadays but I've never had anything that comes close to this. Blindfolded, I don't think I could tell the difference. Really an incredible beer!
