This barrel-aged English barleywine was blended from mostly thirty gallon RockFilter Distillery barrels. We added a tiny amount of organic Turkish figs and vanilla beans from India to accent characteristics in this beautiful liquid. A deep, rich body showcases layers of vanillin, dried dark fruit, charred oak, browned sugar, fall leaves, chicory root, caramels and brandy. This barleywine was created to enjoy with a holiday meal amongst family and friends.

Bottle pour. Caramel brown color. Not a lot of head.
Sweet, a lot of honey, stout wine. Figs, molasses, plums, cocoa, caramel, bourbon, oak, vanilla. Brown sugar, brandy. Pretty thick. Warming, smooth. Need this for Xmas Eve.
