This collaboration blended imperial stout has a 34 month old Modist Brewing imperial stout, 32 month old Horace Aged Ales imperial stout, 23 month old Forager imperial stout and 20 month old Barrel Theory and J. Wakefield imperial stout. We then loaded this thickness with banana, peanuts, coconut, vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and toffee. Why eat your banana split when you can drink it?

750ml waxed and capped bottle into a BBT snifter. Shared with schen9303.

No head, no lace, great big, oily legs that stain the sides of the glass. Nose is chocolate, cocoa powder, peanut butter, molasses and banana overtones. Peanut butter and banana tend to be pretty subtle adjuncts but they're extremely prominent on the nose here. Beer opens molasses, chocolate, syrup, and peanut butter. Brown sugar and a touch of sweet soy sauce in the middle. Banana and more molasses in the end and aftertaste. Very sweet. Body is full with low carbonation. Chewy and full on the palate and goes down hot and sticky with a long, lingering aftertaste.

The body carries the day here but the flavor is a touch too sweet.

Split pours black, with not much head. The aroma is filled with rich malty notes, black licorice, and hints of almonds/peanuts. The flavor is sweet and rich, with lots of toffee and coconut, with banana coming out as it warms up—rich, thick body. Overall, full of rich flavors, sweeter, and a top stout.

Poured from bottle , This collaboration stout has an impressive lineage It pours dense black with a tan head . Smell has barrel, bananas cocoa and caramel. Taste follows the nose with warming mellow bourbon, with banana, peanuts vanilla and cocoa. A pastry desert stout on the palate. Loved the banana and peanuts.
