We brewed this barleywine with maple sap in place of water, 100% Maris Otter malt, a single hop and hardy English yeast. We rested this mahogany hued liquid in a Weller wheated bourbon barrel for fourteen months before transferring to a Blanton's barrel for another fifteen months. This barleywine is designed to age in a dark cool cellar but we recommend to drink it soon.

Bottle at share. Mahogany pour, small bubbly head. Swwet maple aroma, brown sugar, malty. Taste is also about the maple, sticky and sweet, lovely malty notes underneath, all with a pleasant glowing warmth. Nice.
