Summer is here. This refreshing wheat ale has notes of lemon, red berry, and honey in the aroma. Flavors are lemon and berry with a classic wheat crispness. A perfect pairing for our warm summer days. 5.6% ABV and 19 IBUs. (We've added Blackberry and Lime to this batch for a fun twist.)

Pours a murky, hazy reddish color. 2 finger reddish/white head. The head retention is decent. There's very minimal lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose has black berries in it, and, yes, I do get a hint of lime. Strange combination, but it is working.
Taste - the black berries, and the lime mellow each other out. Neither is very strong,
The body is lighter, but not too light. Seems about where it should be.
Interesting experiment. I wouldn't think that these flavors would work, but they do. Maybe the flavors could be ramped up a bit is my only real complaint. Though, on a hot, sunny summer day, this would be going down very fast, and easy.
