Copenhagen 13/4 2020. 33 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard. Bottle packed in paper in Intels usual style. Drawing of a quiet sea and the sea peeking out from a cloudy sky. The version I am drinking has a ABV of 5,6
Pours unclear amber gold with a medium-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a quite strong malty sweetness and a lighter tart odor. Caramel, sweet ale malts. Sweet orange. Light odor of unripe berries and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly tart and bitter with a caramel undertone. Lingers shortly.
Very much on the sweet side for a beer that call itself a Saison.

Hazy yellow-to-amber body with a large, frothy off-white head, mostly lasting with good lacing.
Moderate malty (grains) and yeasty, and light hoppy (flowers) aroma with notes of fruits and spices.
Moderate sweet and light-to-moderate acidic flavour; average-lasting sweet finish with some astringency.
Medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation.

L: hazy orange-brown; quite foamy at the start, but the beige head dissipates quickly
S&T: light malty bread up front; followed by wheaty freshness and typical witbier notes of coriander; a light, almost belgian-yeasty banana-sweetness throughout; bay leaf / liquorish aftertaste
F: rather light, barely tingly carbonation, slightly drying
O: solid beer. Tastes a bit like a belgian witbier, but very tasty nonetheless. I'm normally not a fan of the banana-esthers from belgian yeast, but I didn't mind it in this one. Good!
I recommend this one!

Pours a medium amber coloration with a thick, foamy head. Smells of yeast, caramel malts and peach. Taste is malty, fruity with hints of spice, a light, dry bitterness. There's also some noticeable underlying wheat and yeast and a slight caramel sweetness there, some peach and banana aromas and notes of cloves and pepper. Due to its wheaty, yeasty character with strong malty and fruity accents, this really feels like more of a Wheat Beer than a Saison.
