Poured a copper body with reddish tints and has minimal head/lace. Aroma is dominated by dark fruits like figs, raisins, possible plums, with hints of sweetness. The figs and plums (dark fruits in general if you will) are at forefront of taste profile of this heavy bodied, slightly boozy/medicinal beer (the ABV is hidden for most part but bleeds through at times) which at times gives off a black currant taste as well. Like the balance between the boozy dark fruit flavors and some candi sugar sweetness, oaky smoothness (I do not believe beer was aged in any barrels but could be wrong) and even once in a while get a yeast/wheat twang pop. I liked this brew but wish the dark fruits and booze were a subdued from current state so more flavors could pop through (and it would be easier to drink).
