Top notch Vienna Lager. Bought a 16 oz can at The Casual Pint in Virginia Beach VA. Poured into a pint glass, his beer features a beautiful clear amber color and a medium sized off-white head. etention is somewhat better than average and there are flecks of lacing on the glass. A good looking beer. I had this on a blazing hot day with tortilla chips and salsa. A perfect match for an Austrian (really Mexican) style beer!!. Aroma and taste provide a malty, slightly sweet (caramel malt) base with just a hint of bitterness. The flavors are well pronounced and this beer is tastier than Dos Equis Amber, which is my "go-to" in Mexican restaurants. Mouthfeel is crisp and light with a touch of bitterness in the finish to balance the caramel malt. This is an outstanding example of the style. I would love to see in in Hampton Roads restaurants as their local offering like some of he O'Connor and Smartmouth beers.

Better than other Vienna Lagers if that is indeed correct clarification, but just not a great beer in my opinion and full disclosure I am not a "lager guy". Poured a clear, copper body with two-finger head that quickly died and left no lace. Typical dry, bitter lager-esque aroma. The beer is light and easy to drink in terms of you can sit in the sun and pound it all day, but the beer itself is too dry and crisp for my liking as it becomes not only bitter but the finish is biting at times and there's not much else going on in this beer.
