Not a bad slow sipper. Don't see it as a Cream Ale though. Pours a fairly clear light amber/yellow color with a small fizzy head and no lacing. The head fades fast, leaving a longer lasting ring around the top of the glass.
Aroma is mostly oak and bourbon with some suggestion of a malty beer. Taste is pretty much the same. Big blast of bourbon barrel flavoring up front with some light maltiness in the finish. Mouthfeel is rich with good barrel aged flavoring, a little alcohol burn but overal lpretty smooth. A good slow sipper, I would drink this one again.

The beer pours a very light white head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is a very clear lightish medium amber that looks good but doesn't really give anything unique to look at.
The smell and taste are certainly unique and better than a regular cream ale but doesn't really inspire. The notes consist of a nice mix of cinnamon and nutmeg that work very well with the bourbon notes and light alcohol note. The overall result is a bourbon with various spices. It isn't bad and certainly unique but it seems that it could be doing a bit more..
The feel is very light and texture is definitely smooth with very light carbonation note to it. There is a little bit of weight from the alcohol but that doesn't seem to be much.
Overall, the beer's main strength is its unique smell and taste that definitely make this beer worth trying at least once.

The bottom of the can says: "12/01/2016 011:56:06"
Appearance: The beer body has a dark bronze color. While the body allows enough light through to strike a few changes in color it is not clear enough to see through. There is a momentary white head but it fizzes away very quickly. After the head fades out the beer looks more like tea in the glass.
Aroma: There is a bit of a woody scent to the beer. It kind-of reminds me of cedar mothballs. I will say that it does have an interesting aroma.
Taste: It certainly tastes better than it looks or smells. There is a nutmeg flavor with some spicy character that tastes a bit like cinnamon. There is a bit of light malt flavor but it blends a bit with the alcohol and gives it a bit of a sweet spiced rum flavor. It's a tasty beer.
Mouthfeel: It's smooth with a nice body but it really lacks carbonation. It just feels still.
Overall: It is an interesting beer because it tastes great but just doesn't have enough polish on it overall. It tastes fantastic so if you don't mind the lack of carbonation or the dull appearance then it's worth at least trying. I won't be buying anymore this year but I will probably give it a shot next year to see if they've improved on it. Again it tastes fantastic.

Coppery ale; minimal head. Aroma carries plenty of spice along with cream. Cinnamon is the dominant component.
Very sweet on the palate; up front, it's mostly sugar; cinnamon makes a strong showing in the middle; the backend is all cream, spices, and booze - and honestly is reminiscent of egg nog, especially the aftertaste.

Poured a cloudy golden copper body with minimal head and lace. The aroma has this boozy, woody aspect to it with hints of dairy and sweetness to it. The beer is medium bodied and thick at times, almost a sticky dessert sipper at times, with touches of lactic quality. Some spices and booze shine through and warm me up and there is a bit of sweetness like vanilla coming through. Enjoyable beer to have on a cold winter night but don't expect egg nog in beer form.
