Tropical Gose is the next iteration of our street vendor series inspired by Caribbean rum punch. This gose explodes with pink guava, pineapple, orange purée, pink salt with hints of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg!

a gose with tropical fruit, unique from its peers in a number of cool ways. its super hazy from the can, milky and thick, looks dense and grainy, and tastes and feels that way too, even though its delicate flavors and a lighter style generally. this feels pretty sturdy, the texture of the wheat on display as much or more than its flavor, which i think is a point of distinction here, it doesnt looks amazing, but that fuller smooth feel is awesome in a sour beer. of the fruits in here, passion fruit is by far the most forward in aroma and taste, its super authentic, like eating one right out of the shell with a spoon, all tart and tangy and sweet at the same time, this rises well above any other fruit component. very refreshing and tropical. the sourness is nice, moderate only, but cleaner and very citrusy, no sweaty or cheese or cheap aspects to it at all, and the salt enhances it nicely, saltier than many. i also get a distinct cake sort of complexion to this one the whole, angel food or shortcake or something, lightly sweet and bready and desserty, almost glazed by the passion fruit. more bubbles would be helpful but the acidity keeps it from feeling too heavy. my first beer from these guys is a good one, memorable even. as more fruited gose comes into the market, the good ones make themselves all the more obvious. really enjoyed this.

Went to Commonwealth in July 2017 after my wife asked to go and get some Wapatoolie (she loved it and she's not a microbrew drinker) . Got a pour from the tap loved the initial salty taste, but post salt splash was a little light.
