L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a 3/4", creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of hops, tropical fruit, a floral quality, malt, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a bit of the floral quality (kind of fleeting), a candy-like quality, lots of citrus fruit (tangerines, perhaps?), some hops (not overdone), and a good shot of tropical fruit (passionfruit). A light, fruity, super sweet flavor. It's incredibly focused and quite effervescent. Delicious.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Light- to medium-bodied.
O: A highly enjoyable DIPA. Definitely drinkable.

Poured from the can. Bright golden hazy color. Raw hops on the nose. Bitter sweet citrus candy taste with a long hoppy tail -- more hop-dominant than a lot of these Commonwealth beers. Heavy feel initially with astringency that moves toward the front of the mouth. I've had two of these and both were excellent.

Hazy double from the can. Cotton-candy and marshmallow on the nose - half-handful of skittles washed down with sprite/tropical/citrus/astringent pine. Took my breath away on the first sip - was afraid I was going to hate it - but really like it after all - bizarrely bitter and multi-sweet at the same time. Good weight - good depth - worth sharing but couldn't be my daily brew. I can only imagine what sorcery makes this possibly but the decadence is impressive and worth seeking-out.

I really loved this beer. One of the smoothest doubles I've had to his point. This was the highlight of my trip to NC, what a great brewery just off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. So many great beers...
