L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange / brown color and a pretty cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.

S: A very good aroma of hops, tropical fruit, malt, and citrus fruit.

T: Tasted of a good shot of tropical fruit (guava, a dominant ingredient), a decent bit of hops (sharp, but never overly bitter), a tinge of malt (mostly in the finish; not a particularly big element), and some citrus fruit as well (grapefruit, especially). A super tropical, slightly funky flavor. Lots of guava, but well-balanced.

F: A solid amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A well done, easy to like beer. Worth a try.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So I know they do the NE style IPAs, but this beer looks like turd water. Maybe if it were more orange than brown...
Smells absolutely marvelous, though. Straight up guava!
Lots of guava, a bit of mango and passion fruit. Super tropical. Would be awesome with firm sheep cheese. No hop bite.
Full mouthfeel, but not heavy. No real sign of the strength.
Really good for what it is.

 

Cloudy orange with a slightgrapefruit pink. Looks like heavy orange juice.

Delicious grapefruit smells and flavors. Really citrus and acidic. Really aromatic. Slight alcohol in the finish.

Heavy and acidic. Tingling carbonation. Smooth. Slight burn in the finish.

Fantastic beer.

 

This is a triple IPA made with pink guava. From a can that I gather is less than a week old, pours a totally hazy dark orange. Small off-white head, minimal lacing. Smell is tons of guava, of course, but also peach, pineapple and a general tropical aroma. Taste follows, with just the right hint of bitterness in the finish. Feel is a smooth and slightly rich medium. Not a bit of booze noticeable in this ten-percenter. Overall, this is a great beer. Even without the guava addition this would be a top-tier juice bomb.
