Canned maybe MAR, maybe APR, not sure as it's smudged, just see the R
Pours a decent fizzy bubbly smaller head that fades semi slowly at least, nice soapy lacing, murky dark burnt orange color
Nose has weird citrus, like blood orange and ruby red grapefruit, with a little cantaloupe and generic citrus, melon fruit, a little maybe tropical but hard to get, bit of creamy wheat and sweet malt
Taste starts with a bit of sweet malt, a bit syrupy, creamy wheat, little toasted grainy, then big hops, like fruit punch with plenty of citrus, blood orange like again, ruby red grapefruit, also with like cherry and cantaloupe again, melon, stone fruit, pineapple, starting to be more like Hawaiian Punch, weird grassy herbal bitterness kicking in later, touch of alcohol on the mildly drier finish yet a bit sticky sweet, weird bitterness lingering that clashes
Mouth is med to a bit heavier bodied, decent carb, a touch of warming alcohol, a little creamy
Overall eh, it has some fun notes with the Hawaiian punch like thing, but malts are a bit too sweet and heavy, the nagging weird bitterness is really off putting, but an interesting beer

Poured (from tap, not can) a pale, cloudy, almost murky orange body with an aroma that first hit me like an orange creamsicle (basically orange-flavored, sugary candy). Smooth, creamy, no bitterness, the orange flavor is dominant with a sugary and white grapefruit-like sweetness to boot and the finish is clean.

Surprisingly dark in colour. It was recommended to us at a tasting nearby. Not an ipa that assaults the taste buds, very smooth for an IPA but not too flavorful either. We drank this in paper cups though so add whatever discount to our review that deserves.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. April 2018.
ugh, just gotta say, yeag this is real ugly looking brew. Trubid, and dark slury brown body color, with a still appearance. Some carbonation makes the body at least somewhat lively than frozen, and a classic creamy three finger head, bright white with pill like lacing and sheets down the glass. A nice head saves this from being real nasty, but it looks like something I find after a bender.. Let's put that mildly…
Aroma is exceptional. Candy like gum, hinting of mint and strawberry to red berry fruit like hop character. Exotic with an almost cherry pie like quality coming off the beer, touching a bit of graham craker malt aroma as well. Very impressed by this, an impressive penny candy quality that comes out of nowhere.
Palate hits real nicely. Mid palate has excellent soft hop bitterness, touching with a bit of herbs and earth richness. Slightly orange citrus, but goes for a bit of earthy soil flavor, with some balancing touches of mint sweetness and also pine bitterness to cut through. Simple malt backbone, doesn't quite get into chewy density like most excellent wheat malt bill forward brews but decent.
Very much love the aroma and flavor on this brew. Just wish it didn't look so nasty.
