The beer pours a decent brown head that dissipates quickly but leaves a very nice looking dark chocolate black with a creamy texture to it.

The smell is good. It has a dominant sweet and bitter dark chocolate smell with a sweet citrus orange note that is upfront. The coffee is a bit light but still makes an appearance there.

The taste has a good blend of a sweet and creamy milk chocolate note. The bright and sweet citrus orange note is there as well and it is present but really pops out in the finish.

The feel is a nice medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation and really creamy body.

Overall, an interesting orange imperial coffee stout that is pretty good and works well for the winter season.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a deep, dark mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored, foamy head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.

S: An enticing aroma of chocolate, citrus fruit, coffee, malt, and a creamy quality.

T: Tasted of a moderate amount of malt (present throughout), some of the creamy quality (not a big factor), a lot of chocolate, a bit of coffee, and some of the citrus fruit (oranges). An interesting, forceful flavor. The addition of oranges makes for lively dynamic, though the real star is the chocolate. Quite delicious.

F: An average amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A well done stout. Definitely worth a try.

Dark black pour with a reddish hue to it and 1.5" dark tan foamy head that lingers and leaves ample lacing. Chocolate, oranges and coffee on the nose. The orange taste is prevalent with chocolate and coffee fighting through the orange to round the taste out. Slightly bitter finish. There's a nice thickness and smooth carbonation. Overall this is a nice stout, the orange may be a little stronger than I prefer.
