Beer pours a nice and creamy chocolate brown head that dissipates slowly. Beer itself resembles a good dark chocolate black with a chocolate syrup texture that makes it look indulgent.
The smell is wonderfully indulgent. The rye and brandy ores are smooth and not overwhelming with a delicious cocoa note and coconut that complements it. There is a subtle banana note that works well with the vanilla.
The taste is amazing with a strong and sweet cocoa upfront alongside the brandy notes. The vanilla and coconut follow suit with the rye adding a nice spice note to it. The banana note is the greatest of all of them. It doesn’t taste artificial but like a fresh banana and mixes well with the other notes.
The feel is pretty good. It has a heavy body by very smooth and silky. There is some tiny carbonation but not much. There is also some slight stickiness to it.
Overall, this is a fantastic beer and is pretty much perfect. The notes work well in harmony with each other and is wonderful.
