L: Poured from a crowler to a snifter glass. Had a honey gold color and a mostly clear consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that lasted an above average amount of time. Pretty good lacing.

S: A sweet and interesting aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, coconut, tropical fruit, and wood.

T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; not a big factor), a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, in particular), a decent amount of hops (not too much, but certainly present), a bit of wood (from the advertised oak barrels), some coconut, and citrus fruit (orange). This is a sweet, subtle, oddly compelling flavor.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth, if a little syrupy, finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A solidly done, easy to drink beer. Worth a look.

The beer pours a nice white foamy head that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a hazy orange color that has a bit of yellow to it. It looks nice and strongly resembles pineapple juice.

The smell is delicious and sweet. The main note is a strong pineapple with hints of coconut at the edges. There is also a sharp orange and bitter hop nut that cuts in just during the finish.

The taste is good with a sweet pineapple upfront followed by a delicious coconut. The more bitter orange hop note is more present and contrasts decently with the sweeter notes to create a tropical delight.

The feel is good. It has a medium body that is on the heavier side of things with a smooth and dry finish.

Overall, this is a fairly solid hazy tropical ipa worth getting. It goes great with a nice tropical day.
