L: Poured from a growler to a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a mostly clear consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of hops, malt, citrus fruit, pine, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a little bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a hint of tropical fruit (passion fruit), a decent shot of hops (not overdone, though), a little pine, and some citrus fruit (orange, lemon). A focused and well-balanced flavor. It has a more straightforward, old school (i.e., it's not overly fruity) quality, but it manages to work well.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made, easy to drink DIPA. Worth a try.
