L: 16 oz can poured into a radler glass. Pours a thick, dark orange color with minimal head that quickly fades. Little to no head.
S: Fruit forward, the pineapple and mango dominate the nose with some hints of lactose and vanilla.
T: Tons of fruit on the first sip. Mango, papaya, passionfrut and pineapple followed by a nice sour finish with a nice vanilla additional from the lactose and vanilla and a hint of coconut
F: Medium body and carbonation with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Tons of flavor in this one and they blend pretty well

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange color and a thick, viscous consistency. There was a half inch of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Not much lacing. Kind of looks like orange juice.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of hops, citrus fruit, lactose, coconut, vanilla, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (not a big factor), lots of coconut, a mild hops content (just enough), a whole lot of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple, passionfruit), a bit of lactose, some citrus fruit (orange), and a surprising amount of vanilla. A super sweet, slightly sour, and vibrant flavor. This is one of the lightest, most tropical NE IPAs I've tried.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a creamy, smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An extremely enjoyable beer. Drinkable.

Did not think sour & lactose would work: absolutely did! Great mouthfeel! Lovely lingering piña colada aftertaste.
