Had on tap. Het black body with light tan foam. Smells heavily roasted, with the coconut, cinnamon, and chocolate all coming across as robust with the rustic oak backing. Taste is about the same, with the booze coming through near the end. Dry and thin for a stout, everything tastes and feels a little too roasted but not quite woody though, just caught in between.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a coal black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, tan-colored head that lasted an average amount of time. No lacing to speak of.
S: A very good aroma of chocolate, malt, coconut, coffee, wood, and spices.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of coffee (not a massive component), a definite earthy quality (very much present), some spices (cinnamon, in particular), a bit of oak, a little coconut, a lot of chocolate (a big factor), and some malt (present throughout). A surprisingly subtle and straightforward flavor. Quite well-balanced and flavorful.
F: Had an average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: A super solid, easy to drink stout. Worth a look.
