16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating, but a very recent release. Tavour shipment.
From the can "sour India pale ale with Calamansi, kumquat, orange, and lactose"
Orange juice body. Head fizzes out very quickly, hence no lacing.
Slightly sharp citrus aroma.
On tasting, wow. By far the most citrus laden beer I've ever had. The only evidence of lactose is a light coating of the tongue, other than that, it is a full on tart citrus assault. The overall taste is actually quite good, but no way would I want more than one of these at a time.
Mouth medium, finish citrus cubed.
Overall, an interesting experience, best tried once in a while.
