Poured moderately hard from a tall can to a snifter glass, forming a couple fingers of light brown head. Deep black/brown body with no lacing. Smell is definitely raisins, with some malty and cinnamon background. Taste follows the smell closely, with raisins more forward while cold, followed by cinnamon which increases as it warms. Background of oatmeal with moderate sweetness that thankfully doesn't become overpowering as it warms. Not quite thick bodied and a bit oily. Really tasty cinnamon/raisin taste, not too sweet, another awesome stout from Commonwealth.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a deep, dark brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A very good aroma of malt, chocolate, dark fruit, and spices.
T: Tasted of a good amount of chocolate (sweet, but certainly not cloying), a decent bit of spices (cinnamon, in particular), a respectable amount of malt (present throughout, but obtrusively so), and some dark fruit (raisins, especially). This is a solid, likable, and well-balanced flavor. Gets better as you go along. Pretty tasty.
M: A below average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well done, easy to like stout. Worth a try.
