Poured hard from a tall can into a snifter glass, forming a couple fingers of frothy tan head that slowly faded to moderate lacing. Deep brown body, pretty much opaque. Smell is like smoky coffee, pretty unique. Taste is somewhat difficult to describe besides the coffee forward. A bit of a smoky aftertaste, but not too bitter. Just shy of medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation after the pour. Pretty interesting coffee porter, definitely good for that style.
