16oz can poured into a goblet
A- pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a thin film floating on top
S- aroma opens with earthy and herbal espresso, along with a big hit of cinnamon and green pepper skin. Undertones of chocolate, maple, cinnamon toast, charred malt and a hint of vanilla
T- heavy cinnamon and earthy espresso up front is followed by notes of mocha. Mid-palate brings out a maple sweetness, along with notes of green pepper. The finish gives more earthy espresso and cinnamon, with a linger of vanilla and cinnamon
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that turns into a velvety, slightly warming finish
O- full flavored with all of the adjuncts popping through, well done

Poured moderately hard from a tall can into a tulip glass, forming a finger or two of light brown head that soon faded to nothing. Black/brown color, totally opaque. Smell is a bit of sweet coffee. Taste is vanilla/sweet coffee up front, followed by some maple sweetness and mild cinnamon at the tail end. Cacao nibs are there, but a little hard to detect, very complex flavor. Medium to heavy bodied with very light carbonation. Excellent breakfast stout.
