Appearance: Clean golden, with an average head of white suds and a little lace.

Aroma: Honeyed malts, sweet and toasty. Nice and pretty true to style.

Taste: Clean and malty here, as should be. As above, faithful to style and easy to drink. Finishes clean and with only a touch of hops. Nice enough brew, though not one I’d really pursue again.

Poured from a bottle to glass.
Looks like nothing special. Gold light lager look with mild carbonation and forgettable lacing. Smells almost sweet like butterscotch. Tastes great and smooth like a beer to drink during a football game. Feel is ok but not hop profile. Not something I’ll remember but it wasn’t bad.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, sweet malt, slight floral hops, earthiness, slight oatmeal, and slight wheat. Fits the style of a Kolsch. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, sweet malt, slight floral hops, earthiness, slight oatmeal, and slight wheat. Overall, good complexity and blend; rather tasty for a Kolsch.

look: 2 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Pours an effervescent gold with a pinky of beige colored head. Zero head retention & lacing

S: Breadyness, perfumy hops

T: Follows the nose, a little grassyness & dryness up front. Grassyness with a touch of grainyness & pears as this warms, plus a little dryness. Finishes grassy with a little white grape & dryness

MF: Light body, slight carbonation

Easy drinker, very solid example of the style

Boulevard American Kolsch - Yeasty lead off rolling into nose from foam sounding like a crowd doing the wave, softer then louder, or maybe i was just moving the glass closer and further away from my head. Dark yellow to light gold color. Full of sweet and fairly neutral malt. Not fruity nor hoppy. Pretty simple, not much hop finish, keeping it kind of wet, like drying off in shower with a damp towel or a hound sized dog nose. Thanksgiving morning, after gathering herbs from yards around the neighborhood. Glad to find so much sage, especially the ample sized bush in front yard, after spending $2 on some at HEB. how much money is wasted on unnecessary purchases? Like car parts you end up not using, or clothes you never wear or somehow lose. How do i manage to lose so many shirts? I pour some out for all the shirts i’ve lost over the days. Picked this up at Specs at Domain, first time in there, after passing by the other day, tempted to go in, but refrained, always good to save a buck or two, helps balance out those aforementioned losses. Took it to Dugans, for monday night sliders and jam, but did not bring all of em in, as people just grab beers out of fridge there, (as they also took bottle of bourbon on china cabinet as community and saw almost half of it disappear that night. This multi pack was a good investment and I want to buy another, both to try this again, in a horizontal tasting. Wet like summerskin, gold like morning light coming in between tree branches and into window through open blinds. If you want to know what yeast in beer smells like, crack open one of these. Guy lazing in hammock on label, one of the brewers, lacing on the recipe and technique. American kolsch indeed, a bit dialed down from a true kolsch.

L: Straw gold color with a fizzy head that dissipates almost instantly and leaves no lacing.

S: Baked bread with some floral hops, some sweet apple.

T: Baked bread and sweet apple mixed with some strong floral hops.

F: Crisp and light

O: A pretty solid "kolsch" style.

Poured 12oz can into a Stange glass.
L: pours a straw gold with perfect clarity and I love it. Nice 1" head that stays there for a good while.
S: lots of bread malts and maybe a little spice but very subtle not getting very much else.
T: nice and bready. With a hint of spearmint. Hops are there but slightly.
F: nice and crisp! I love it. Carbonated well. Light body.
O: this is a perfect summer beer or a beer after work. It is a good American take on Kolsch and I loved it. Def will buy more.
