This is the only brew by boulevard that I dislike. I cannot drink it. It tastes like pecan shell.

Poured from a bottle into a tall pilsner glass
Pours a hazy, nearly cloudy, gold; perhaps a bit dark, however, for the style. Excellent head and lacing. Plenty of bubbly action throughout.
Wheat-forward aroma, but hallmark banana and clove are present, along with white pepper and citrus. The aromas are rather subdued overall.
The brew provides similar but stronger flavors, with a bit more banana and spice on the tip of the tongue, sour/citrus wheat and yeast in midstream, and a strong, if offbeat, peppery finish.
The brew is a bit fuller than expected for the style, but finishes very well with good carbonation.
Overall, an interesting take on a classic style.

12oz bottle. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of banana, clove, wheat and yeast. Sweet wheat taste with banana, clove and spices.

Aroma is wheat, bananas, citrus and mild sweetness. The flavor is bananas, wheat/malts/grains, light citrus and a slightly tart/mostly smooth finish.
