Pours black with one finger of khaki foam. Head retention is poor. Aroma is huge bourbon, medium-roast coffee, chocolate, vanilla and roasty, toasty malts. It smells absolutely huge. There is a hint of butter that mellows it. Flavor profile is roasty, toasty, caramely malts with a big slice of butter. Chocolate, vanilla bean, medium roast coffee, and bourbon add a little heat and complexity. Mouth feel is medium-thick, and thins as it warms. Overall, big coffee over a high octane stout. Bourbon addition is prominent and forward in the nose.
