Inspired by a crazy delicious coconut pecan pie, our brewers sought to marry rich coconut, toasted pecan and complex chocolate notes with a sticky, slightly boozy imperial stout to create Good L'Oven.

Pours black with a finger of khaki foam. Head retention is okay. Aroma is coconut, pecans, molasses, cinnamon, vanilla and nutty, roasty and toasty malts. Flavor profile follows the nose, hitting notes of pecans, coconut, molasses, toffee, vanilla bean and cinnamon. Nutty, roasty, toasty malts add depth and darkness. Cinnamon on graham cracker crust lingers on the palate long after each sip. Mouth feel is a touch velvety, but hits more of a creamy feel. There is a bit of silty, grainular texture on the back of the palate. It has a thick consistency. Overall, big and tasty. It opens up very sweet, with the cinnamon adding a little dryness to help balance out the whole experience.
