Pours a clear, pale golden color. 2/3 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, slight grain, and slight hop. Fits the style of a Maibock. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of grain, yeast, slight sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Overall, a decent blend and aroma, but weak body.

Had on Tap in a pint glass

not to deep but not to pale copper pretty much just right down the middle of the road. Nice 1 and a half finger head that retains well but doesnt really lace

Sweet floral hops and malt in the nose with some underlying barly and alcohol tones not alot going on here

Small amout of sweet malt and hops with some biscut flavors all of them very subtle but blending together very nicely.

The best thing about this beer is all the little flavors that come together in the mouth to make a very good beer. Maybe a tad over carbonated but that would just be being nit picky. Good medium body.

Great offering from boulevard again great summer beer good flavor. As you drink it also comes out a little bitterness and more hop qualtiy

color is straw yellow with a minimal white lacing head. steady carbonation rising and constant white foam coverage.

smell is sweet straw-like malts with a touch of hops in the nose. yeasty qualities are present but very faint.

Malts and delicately complimented with a kiss of a mixture or european and American hops. some grassy/earthy qualities yet a slight citrus and pine note. Very good

Mouth is medium to heavy carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. drinks very easy. I wish they bottled this because it would be a summer favorite.

On tap at Tinys (little blue collar bar in Columbia IL), thankfully they carry some Boulevard.

Pours a golden yellow, small white head will pop up but quickly die. Light in the aroma department, just some notes of malt and spice. Quaff was a bit of letdown for me, it was spicy and malty, but it also carried a grainy grass taste in the finish. Not enough to make it undrinkable, but it did distract from the flavor.

Still, drank several pints during the evening - but I don't think I would get this in the bottle.

Poured into a 16oz shaker pint. This beer pours a golden straw with a big fluffy white head that recedes into a thin lily pad on the top of the beer. As a note, this beer is quite a bit lighter then most Maibocks I've had the pleasure of imbibing in. The aroma is light caramel notes with just a pinch of grassy hops. The flavor is built upon the malty backbone. Caramel, vanilla up front with a out of place sulfur flavor on the finish. I'm sure the sulfur is a yeast by product but it just seems out of place with such a malty beer. The mouthfeel is creamy and finishes smooth. I would have liked a bit maltier version, but this is a good, easily drank session brew from Boulevard.

On tap at Jack's Stack BBQ in KC.

Clear golden brew (a bit light in comparison with others in this category) pretty intense early carbonation, two finger white head slowly dissipating lacing. Very sweet and malty in the nose, minimal hop presence. Fairly sweet malty taste, with a dry finish. Not much alcohol presence, but has potential to be a decent session beer.

Had this on tap at Mcnellie's in OKC. Poured a pure honey gold almost to the rim, with a off-white head covering the top. Smelled of malts, light fruits and a bit of grass at the end. Also tasted malty and fruity with a slight amount of spice mixed in. I didn't get much in the way of hops in either the aroma or on the palate, but a faint bitterness did exist toward the end. I'm always looking forward to new Boulevard brews, but this one seemed to lack just a bit in the taste department, but still makes for a good session brew.

I had this on tap a while back at the brewery, but saw it on draft at Barley's in Shawnee today and filled my mug with it.

Golden in color - your neighbor might think you are drinking a Coors Light, but they'd be so very wrong.

Not much to smell here, probably because the malt is so dominant.

Taste is very malty - grain and barley dominate, with a sweet aftertaste. Alcohol is not apparent. Tasted great on a warm day on the patio.

Mouthfeel is good as is drinkability. Could definitely go through a number of these in a night. Recommended.
