Presentation: 750ml corked and caged brown bottle with the batch number and best by date printed on the back label. Served in a lambic glass.
Appearance: The lilac colored, bubbly, sliver of a head goes away almost immediately and leaves behind a thin foam ring and a lot of lacing all over the glass.
Smell: It's a fruity scent of fresh lemon, lime and blueberries. There's a funky, damp wood and hay note mixed in there too. It finishes with floral aromas in the background.
Taste: It's very sour with high acidity but not crushingly so. There's still some nuance to the fruity flavors of fresh blueberry, lemon and limes. A hint of a funky, yogurt note shows up in there as well with some bready pie crust wrapping things up.
Mouthfeel: It's quite light and crisp but very cloying. It's definitely meant to be enjoyed in small amounts.
Overall: A wonderful, fruit bomb of a beer that sour lovers will enjoy a lot. It gets quite cloying after a while and it doesn't look that great but it just shines everywhere else.
