12oz bottle. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of spicy rye, pine and toasted caramel. Nice toasted caramel taste with some spice and pine bitterness.

Poured from a 12oz bottle: Poured a slightly hazy amber color with a 1.5-2 finger foamy white color head with a decebt amount of lacing and carbonation which fades. A first smell detects a bitter hops aroma folloed by rye. At first the taste is very bitter and hops forward, but is mellowed out by the rye which makes for a smooth, balanced, and tasty finish. Medium body and mouth feel. Overal this beer is sessionable and has a nice IPA bite without being over aggressive at 5.2% ABV.
