Really nice diversion from the typical. The carrot blended nicely. Crisp fresh taste on a late summer day.

12oz bottle. Poured out a slightly cloudy, orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of sweet caramel, fruitiness and floral notes. It was sweet, which I guess was the carrot. Not overpowering, but fine.

IDK why they went with carrots. but this lemon-y saison has just enough earthy notes to it to justify the name. overall, if you didnt tell me it had carrot in the mix, i might not have even guessed it. not at bad beer, but nothing worth seeking out.

Cloudy carrot orange with a moderate foamy orange tinted head that subsides to just a thin layer fairly soon but does manage just a bit of lacing.
The aroma is an earthy carrot and citrus with a bit of light malt.
The taste is light malt sweetened with a solid carrot juice flavoring brightened and balanced with a touch of lemon. The finish is dries out with a lemon zest kick.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, smooth and easy to drink.
Altogether this is a surprisingly tasty brew. Once you get past the novelty and a question about why would you mess with a perfectly decent beer by adding carrot juice, you have to admit this is well worth a try, some may not agree, some may love this variant.
