Brown in color with a fingernail of brown on top. They nailed the aroma with lots of caramelized sugar. I’m tasting sugar, cinnamon, and caramel. The mouth is lightly sticky and dry.

depend on how you judge a beer, if judged by the name and the goal they want to achieve, it's very well. it is very much like creme brulee!
however if judged by normal beer standard this seems a little overpowered on the sweetness, especially when it's get warmer , the mouthfeel and the taste gets worse

I got a bottle of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy amber with thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had wonderful caramel creme notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with sweet caramel malt base with vanilla and creme presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had smooth carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Pours a brownish copper color with a half finger of head. The nose has only very weak notes of whiskey with a cotton candy sweetness in the background. The flavor is dominated by a medicine-like sweetness. The body is somewhat thin for the style.
I usually dig Boulevard's high ABV stuff, but this one was a bit of a swing and a miss.

Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Pours a murky brown with a very small layer of head. The nose is fantastic. Delicious figs, toffee, cream puff, vanilla, marshmallow, graham crackers, chocolate, pie crust, and a hint of apples and raisins. Just lovely to sit and smell this one.
The taste is great. Sweet candy, vanilla, slightly burnt toffee, marmalade, maple, apple pie, bread, plums, and raisins. Really enjoyable. The ABV is literally not detectable in any way. This could be 5% and I wouldn't know.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a relatively sweet aftertaste. Never too sweet.

Holy sweetness Batman...
12oz bottle pours out dark brown with a khaki head. Butterscotch and vanilla/caramel lead the way. Bourbon, toffee, alcohol, bready malt, sweet breads, syrupy, dessert-y, and rich.

A - Perfectly clear dark amber garnet color with light carbonation and bubbly caramel colored lacing.
S - Buttery vanilla, toasted sugar, and booze on the nose.
T - Big vanilla, toffee, creamy caramel, and light Bourbon.
M - Big light syrupy body with some warming in the back of the throat.
O - Too green. Want another bottle to let it sit and mature, then re-visit.

On a blind grab from the mixed pack... Pour is flat with no lacing to speak of... Look is a lovely translucent scarlet... Nose is indeed like a sweet, milky custard... Taste is dessert-y sweet and sticky... Swallow seems slightly thin, but brings it on home with a slight burn to inform the participant that it's got a little kick.
Pretty nice sampling in all, but it's not a chug-a-lugger!

Brewer’s Choice 2022 Crème Brulee from Boulevard Brewing. Mixed six-pack of 12 oz bottles from Franklin Beer, Franklin, on 08/12/22. $23.00 (Including tax) = $ 0.319/oz. Reviewed 13/12/22. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Rear label stamped “Please Enjoy By 23Aug2024”. Served at 54.1 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 58.7 degrees.
Appearance – 3.5.
First pour – Medium Amber (SRM 12), hazy.
Body – Deep Amber (SRM 15), hazy. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, translucent and amber orange.
Head – Average (Maximum 2.5 cm, aggressive center pour), beige, high density, quickly diminishing to a 0.15 cm crown with a thin cap.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 4.25 – Distinct vanilla, burnt sugar, caramel/toffee, no hops, no yeast. On the exhale, bourbon is faintly evident.
Flavor – 4.25 – Flavor follows the nose – sweet, caramel, vanilla, no hops, no yeast. No ethanol (13.3 % ABV as marked on bottom) aroma or taste. No oakiness noted. Mild gastric warming occurs. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 4 – Medium, creamy bordering on syrupy, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 4 As tasty or more so than many crème brulee which have crossed my lips, this was a pleasure to consume. Unfortunately, the bourbon and barrel are lost in the sugar and caramel. Otherwise, this is a bargain!

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of sweet caramel and toffee, vanilla and bourbon. Nice caramel, toffee sugary sweetness with bourbon, oak and vanilla flavors.
