Brewed at Boulevard Brewing Company in Kansas City, our talented team of 30+ Missouri Breweries decided to brew this 9.5% ABV Belgian Dark Strong Ale in the Trappist-style, meaning we wanted the beer to get nice and dry. Although it's dry, this beer is complex and has characteristics of plum, dried cherry, fig, and a spicy floral aroma.

16oz can purchased at Logboat. Poured out a dark amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of fig, dried fruit, malty notes and toffee. Great fruity taste with plum, fig and sweet maltiness. Mild bitterness.
