ncient Romans, the OG mixologists, began a trend of blending red wine with water, herbs, and sweeteners. As the trend evolved, 15th-century Spaniards added their flair by incorporating fruit, followed by 20th-century innovators deciding red wine wasn't the only star of the show with white wine dancing into the mix. As the world becomes more interconnected, so does the sangria scene. Our white sangria sour ale is a testament to that evolution, bringing a bright new spin on a centuries-old tradition. Cheers to the fruity fusion of Fancy Livin'.

Copper colored with a hazy complexion. There was inch of off white on top, but it entirely disappeared in a few minutes. The aroma is of lime, lemon, and sangria. I’m tasting lemon, lime, and sangria. The mouth is moderately carbonated and crisp.

insanely flavorful beer, neat to see something new from boulevard around, its less common than it used to be, and this is a fun one, although a pint felt like a big dose and one was plenty. a white sangria inspired sour, and its quite sour indeed, but fruity and different. the pour is hazy and pretty dense, orange but maybe faintly pinkish too in the sunsetting light, frothy creamed up head looks good for a sour. the nose is striking, bracing instant mouthwatering clean lactic acidity dripping lemon and tart white wine, highly fragrant, and indeed vinous first which is cool, supporting fruitiness of mango, lychee, lemon, orange, and passion fruit are also present to me, although im not sure what fruits they actually claim for this. kettle soured it seems, neither woody nor funky, fresh and zesty and maybe limey too, very bold, not too sugary. the flavor is good, the sourness hits hard early, but it eases back into cool fruity waves with a cantaloupe thing, tons of citrus, and the white wine, i love how much of that comes through, tropical sweet mango, tart though the whole way, a swear there is like a berry element, this hits like pink lemonade or something, trace peach. too sour for a lot of volume, and not as light in texture as i think it could be, its heavier than the flavors seem to want, but its neat to drink, i get a little more each sip, and its an interesting and creative beer unlike any sour ive had really, i could see this doing well for them this summer. beer needs a return to fun, and this one is fun. not super beery, but it works, white sangria indeed!

This is what I think all shandy-style beers should aspire to be!!! Fruity, refreshing, effervescent, and above all DELICIOUS! It’s not too acidic or astringent, nay, I would describe it as perfect

Pours a hazed effervescent gold with one finger of cream-colored head. Some head retention & lacing

S: Tropical fruits, a little citrus, fades a little as the beer is consumed

T: White grapes, pineapple, a little hint of banana & plenty of tartness/acidity. Some mango, passion fruit comes into play along with sweet/acidic pineapple & oranges once this is warmer, white grapes fade. Finishes acidic/tart with mostly tropical fruit & a little citrus, plus dryness

MF: Medium body, lively carbonation & acidity

This has certainly got a summertime vibe to it, but drinks easy enough

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of grapes, white wine, tart lemon and other fruits. Sweet fruity taste with wine white taste and some tart notes.

Cloudy amber color with a modest off white head.
The aroma is tart citrus.
The taste is very tart lime and a bit of tangerine with a light touch of caramel.
The body is light, plenty of spritzy carbonation, crisp but very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a tasty and very refreshing brew, puckeringly tart, should be a good match to Mexican food or Thai, not bad for sippin' by the pool.
