Pours a very effervescent & hoppy gold with 2 fingers of ivory colored head. Good head retention & okay lacing, stays effervescent throughout
S: Green melons, guava, passion fruit, hints of citrus & peach, fades out once warmer
T: Pomelo, a little dryness, white grapes up front. White grapes, grassyness, a little citrus as this warms up, somewhat powdery dryness. Finishes with lemons, white grapes & dryness
MF Light/medium body, moderate carbonation. a little grittiness to this
Drinks alright, wish the flavor matched the early nose. Not impressed

Pours a fairly clear golden yellow with an enormous white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is faint, some fruit and pepper. Flavor follows the nose, slightly sweet in front, slightly hoppy in the finish. Feel is light bodied. Overall, just an average IPA.

I apologize for lacking the sophisticated vocabulary needed to describe beer; I’m rating this because of its relative newness along with the fact that I love to sample and advocate for local beers & breweries. The appearance was lovely, with a perfect clarity and color and an appropriate amount of small bubbles and foam. I did pick up on the mild and slightly fruity aroma, and it was present in the taste but in smaller measure. I haven’t sampled enough IPAs to be able to distinguish huge differences, but this finished smoothly and easily… it would have been cool if there was a little more citrusy zing on the back side. No regrets, and I’d drink another if it were offered to me.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of orange, guava, caramel and pine. Sweet caramel with orange and a clean hop bite.
