Pours a chill hazed gold with 2 fingers of whippy pearl colored head. Drops bright, very good head retention & better lacing

S: Melons, passion fruit, peaches & white grapes

T: Follows the nose, fairly dry, some pomelo & grapefruit & just a bit of pine up front. Caramel surfaces as this beer warms up along with pine, green melon, pears, grapefruit & a bit of watermelon rind. Finishes with peach, green melons, plenty of pine & some grapefruit

MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation, good balance

Drinks easy for the heft; solid addition to the Space Camper Series, was expecting more from the nose

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of resin, orange, grapefruit, mango and guava. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a piney bitterness and caramel backbone.

(original review March 2025 at the Brewhouse as a test batch) Unbelievably well balanced 3x ipa that drinks nothing like its 10% with good mouthfeel; medium & lower hoppiness than you'd expect from a 3x; a subdued tropical/fruity flavor & a strong backend that sneaks up on you. Very dangerously quaffable!

(2nd review from March 31/26 from a can) Throwing caution to the winds & getting a head start on #TIPAThursday, see previous reviews of FE 3X on tap as a test batch at the Brewhouse. Just as tasty in a can as on tap a year ago....& yes....Pray for Mojo....
