On tap at the brewery tour on 7/5/2013. Muscat juice and champagne yeast are used in the process of brewing this test beer. Definitely a champagne-like aroma and flavor profile. Fruity, hints of rose and wine, high carbonation and crispness. Not sure this qualifies as a blonde ale. Definitely something unique.

On tap at the 2013 Firestone Walker Invitational held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and slight grape and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with grain and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that smells better than it tastes in my opinion.

Pours a clear, straw color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of slight hop, slight sweet malt, pale malt, and grapes, but no sourness. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of grapes, sweet malt, pale malt, and a hint of hops. Overall, a simple beer designed to highlight a specific ingredient (Nelson Grapes), and it does that quite well.
