Is it German or Czech? Perhaps a cross of the two. Krauss-Czech Pils is brewed with German Pilsner malt and Czech Saaz hops then lagered to perfection. It finishes crisp and dry with a pleasing balanced bitterness.

Canned 5/8/25. Drank 6/28/25
Pour is a clear, light yellow. Cap of white foam with decent retention and lacing
Nose is lightly sweet doughy malt
Taste follows. Some sweet doughy malt. Some lemon, almost a slight tang. A bit of grassy hop is subdued

Not great. Not terrible. Glad I just have a single. There are better Pilsners out there for my tastes.

Slightly hazy bright gold, medium white head.
Aroma of honey from the Pilsner malt, floral, grassy.
Slightly sweet followed by a significant hit of, my guess, Saaz hops.
Medium dry finish, very satisfying. Nothing fancy, just a very solid example of the style.
Well done.
