Purchased at the brewery for a pretty steep $8.00 for a 500ml bottle. Served at cellar temperature in a tulip
A- Opens well and pours a 1-1/2" high white head that is gone within a minute or two. Very light translucent gold colour and unfiltered
S- Yeasty and sour to the nose
T- Sour. Not too sour but has that farmhouse sour base. Kind of single ended. Not complex but still juicy none the less. Good break for the pallet. Lemon notes. Looses a lot at the end while other sours keep going
M- Dry and tart
O- Nice break brew. Still needs refinement and would buy this brew at $5.00 each while they work on it but no more than that as the price point is dragging this pretty good brew down.
Food Pairing
This pretty good little brew went well with...... Homemade gnocchi with tomato sauce. Boil the potatoes and get the cheese and flour ready. Super nice contrast on this pairing gives it some serious pop.
Enjoy
