Our farmhouse ale was aged for one year in tequila barrels and then conditioned on citrus fruit, creating a bright, funky and effervescent treat.

Bottle: Incredible gusher where I lost more than half of the content to the drain. Poured a murky beige color ale with a huge off-white foamy head with excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of nice rustic malt notes with light funky ester and oak notes with subtle notes of tequila. Taste is also a great mix of rustic malt notes with some light tequila and oak notes with light funky tester with a dry finish. Body is about average with excellent carbonation. Very enjoyable and would be better is bottling issue were corrected.

Hazy gold body, like pineapple, with a fluffy pure white head holding decent retention for a couple of minutes. Mine gushed a bit on opening.
Aroma is tough to place. Mild, with tropical, pine, and citrus notes.
Flavours are tropical and citrus, balancing sweet & tart - pineapple and grapefruit most strongly. Some lime a sense of margarita. There's a distinct note of reposado tequila, blending beautifully with the fruity flavours. Vivid, prickly carbonation, medium body. Taste lingers on the palate, following the off-dry finish.
Really enjoying this one - have to say it pays off on the description as much as you could hope for, a unique and well crafted marriage of flavours. It's obvious, but a great pair for summer & tacos & guac.

Blonde looking beer, veiled, white head.
Nose has citrus, barrel character, I've havent had much Tequila BA beer but I can guess it smells like Tequila, spicy notes as well.
Rustic, dry and funky and has a great mouthfeel.
Amazing one from Blood Brothers!
