More balanced than the unfiltered version (Fracken Thick Stout). Drinkable and not too heavy for a stout. Slightly smoky in flavor with strong coffee on the nose and tongue, and a light vanilla flavor. Just a little light on the look. Pretty impressive though for a little brewpub in the middle of nowhere.
