Clutch pours a hazy straw colour and is topped with a creamy white head. A large dose of flaked oats provides a luscious and soft mouthfeel. Hopped generously with Centennial, Citra, Amarillo, and Mandarina Bavaria, Clutch bursts with flavours of orange peel, grapefruit, peaches and pine. A load of dry-hops are used at the end of fermentation for lush aromas of fresh tropical fruit, pine, and citrus. Soft and aggressive at the same time, Clutch is right where you want it.

Look: Pours hazy medium pale yellow with a rocky 2 finger bright white head. The head dissipates slowly leaving a full 1/3 of a finger across the top with lacing along the sides of the glass after 5 minutes.
Smell: Oranges and lemons, grapefruit and pineapple. Very bright and sweet.
Taste: Starts off pretty mild, but it has a sharp zing of tart grapefruit powering through mid sip. I pick up lemons and dry grass in the mix as well.
Feel: Medium carbonation, very sharp and bright with a astringent bitterness on the back end.
Far to hoppy and sharp for my tastebuds. Some reviews I typically trust and admire really seem to like this brew, but for me it's lacks balance and shocks my palate. I give it a B-

The label tells the truth about this one. Pours a very lightly cloudy straw colour with tall white head which fades moderately quickly. Leaves decent lacing. Aroma is primarily grapefruit. Taste is juicy with lots of citrus; orange & grapefruit. For a session APA at only 4.8%, this one has decent flavour. Downsides are the slightly less than full mouthfeel and slight metallic flavour which comes as each sip fades. A good session IPA from Ontario - it's not Maine Beer Co.'s Post Ride Snack, but it's quite good. Sessions are usually not my thing, but if there's a time when I'm looking for something a little lighter, I will enjoy this again.

Pale golden yellow, thin head with good lacing. A little cold so little aroma mostly grspefruit. The flavour adds some pepper and malt sweetness. Worked well with a spicy Duck starter.

A: Light beige yellow in colour and very opaque. Has just the smallest amount of quickly subsiding head. Rather unusual looking.
S: A bright and inviting aroma. Very citrusy, almost like five alive juice (which now reminds me that this is what it also looks like). Tangerine, lemon/lime, and just a hint of grapefruity hops. After starting to drink a floral aroma was very apparent.
T: There is more to the taste than the smell. It's resiny, herbal, slightly grassy and starts with a touch of pine that slowly grows in prominence. There is also a slight toasty spiciness to it. The citrus does not come through much in the taste. It's just a little bitter but the aftertaste is pretty clean.
F: A nice medium amount of carbonation. Smooth and creamy but also a little astringent and drying.
O: I would say it's just slightly less than very good. The brightness is balanced by the slight bitterness which brings the drinkability down a bit for me.

On draft at, 5 oz as part of a flight. First in the flight.
Hazy straw yellow in colour similar to a wit, but this is an APA. Short head with lots of lace on the glass.
The smell is amazing with strong aromas of peach, grapefruit and orange. The flavour reflects the aroma however whereas the peaches are dominant on the nose, grapefruit is dominant on the tongue.
Nice level of carbonation gives a decent but slightly thin mouthfeel.
I'll be looking for this one at the beerstore or LCBO.

Hazy golden colour, thumb of head with solid retention and sheeting lacing. Nose is sweet tropical fruits, mangoes and citrus notes. Flavour is tangy fruit, with citrus notes alongside the sweet mangoes and passion fruit. Finish is bitter but not overwhelming. Well crafted, loaded with flavour, and sessionable. Well done.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Dec 6 2016 and served slightly chilled. Glad to get a chance to finally try something from Redline, and I've generally heard good feedback about this one.
I can just barely make out the silhouettes of my fingers through this turbid, unfiltered muddy yellow gold-coloured brew. A frothy white head about 3/4 of an inch high is produced, but dissipates steadily over the next 3-4 minutes; the remnants include a wide, foamy collar and a fine coating of attractive lacing. Citrusy hops stand out on the nose, imparting notes of grapefruit pith, orange rind and resiny pine. These are accented with hints of tropical fruit, apricot, and crackery pale malts; the aroma really has a fresh, zesty, inviting feel to it.
A well-made session ale - very balanced and quaffable. The malts have a grainy feel to them, with a light crackery, doughy sweetness that underlies the fruity hop flavours that follow. Notes of peach, orange and melon are less prominent than citrusy grapefruit rind, which subsides in the latter half of the sip, giving way to resiny, piney flavours and floral hop bitterness that last to the finish, but not much further - the aftertaste is dry. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation levels that provide a solid, crisp bite which perfectly suits this light, hoppy pale ale; I could easily drink can after can of this.
Final Grade: 4.09, an A-. Clutch is an excellent thirst-quencher that I'd happily recommend to all Ontario hopheads looking for something light that won't exhaust your palate after a serving or two. This is one of more than a half-dozen APAs, IPAs and ISAs that I picked up last week while shopping in London, and I'd have to say that Clutch is definitely near the front of that pack - so I need to give credit where it's due. Impressive job, Redline - I'll be buying more Clutch if it shows up locally, and will keep an eye out for more of Redline brews in the future.

Pours a very cloudy vibrant yellow. Fresh passion fruit hops on the nose and palette. Taste lacks backbone and almost watered down.

Muddy looking peach or pink grapefruit in colour. Moderate head settles to a film, gives up some good lace. Nose is grapefruit and pine. Peachy fruitiness lurking in the background. Hoppy to taste, noticeable pine and citrus rind, that fruitiness in the background again. Dry and brittle on the palate, something of an acrid bite to it. Some interesting elements, but doesn't quite hang together for me. Too harsh a finish.
