A beer befitting The Mitten’s 49th head honcho and leading lady. The initial taste brings forward soft citrus notes with a layer of herbal tones, followed by a delicate malt character that allows the hops to steal the show; ending with a satisfying dry finish.

Nice and refreshing India Pale Lager tried on tap at Lansing Brewing Company. Pours a nice clear golden color with a small cap of white head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells rather faintly of hops, malt, vanilla, bread and caramel. Taste follows the nose, fairly crisp and clean and refreshing. A touch of bitterness from the hops at the very end. Smooth, mild, slightly thin mouthfeel and good carbonation. An enjoyable effort.
