Poured from 16oz can into glass. Bottom of can is stamped 'CANNED ON 04/17/2018'.
Clear, deep amber colored body. Beige, frothy two finger head persists. Leaves behind lacing.
Piney, citrus aromas. A little bit of malt.
Kind of a malty, piney/citrus hop mess. Finishes dry, with little aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Has a rather dark appearance for an IPA. Aroma and taste do not induce additional sipping. Professional can art, but the beer is lacking.

Look: dark red, cloudy, small head, no lacing. Aroma: ruby red grapefruits, cough syrup, menthol. Taste: sweet, more red grapefruit, no detectable bitterness. Finish: sweet and short. Mouthfeel: medium, low carbonation. Comments: classic example of under attenuated India Pale Ale.

This beer pours a deep copper with a large head. The aroma features roses, butterscotch, pine, orange peel, mandarin orange, and violets. The flavor is fairly sweet, with fresh baked bread and butterscotch notes, as well as pine, shellac, mandarin orange, and a strong floral quality. The mouthfeel is fairly full with creamy carbonation. Overall this is a restrained and balanced beer with some diverse flavors, but it lacks a real punch or verve to bring it to the next level.

L: bright dark brown under a 1" lacy and persistent light tan cap
S: Dankish mint, mild roast, a hint of chocolate, a mild earthiness and a dash of citrus aroma rise from the glass
T: a trace of bitter chocolate and coffee at the front end and a bitter hop accent on the finish. Traces of citrus and minty dank herbs and a smidgen of gain season the roast flavors. It dries out on the finish assisted by some hop and grain astringency.
F: Very creamy with a medium body and medium carbonation
O: reminds me of a New Castle Brown Ale with amped up hops that features more of the hop bitterness than the hop flavor

Appearance was a cloudy mess. Felt like i was sipping the bottom of a fermenter. Major lack of floculation and clarifying. Almost no aroma from what is supposed to be a fresh IPA. Very limited taste - watery. I left unfinished pint on table and got put of the tap room without trying anything else. This is how they launch a brewery? No care or pride put into this amatuer effort. They better improve or they will be quickly lost when compared to their peers.

Visited on 10/2/15, Served in a shaker pint glass.
Half-inch white head with moderate lacing. Beer was not clear, but hazy. But, I didn't feel that this had any impact on taste or mouthfeel. Likely just very fresh, unfiltered ale.
Little discernible aroma.
Taste was pleasant, but subdued. Really needed more hops - and more bitterness/pineyness. It tasted somewhat diluted.
I had high hopes as this is the first taproom in the NW suburbs. This beer could have used some/more dry-hopping. As a positive, this beer can be drank quickly and in quantity...
