The combination of three tropical fruits -Guava, Pineapple, and Mango - all swirled with a ton of vanilla and Citra Hops makes this flavor extratropical. This flavor uses 5x the hops as Lake Day, our Session Pale Ale. Careful, this flavor could influence a trip to the beach.

L:
L: pours hazy, murky gold under a persistent 1" cream cap
S: Fruit, vanilla, sweet malt, pie crust, hop and malt aromas are about even
T: Tropical fruit along with some vegetable, onion and pie crust start the flavors finishing with a bitter grapefruit rind finish.
F: The beer is juicy and pulpy, body is medium plus and the carbonation is medium.
O: full flavored but it is intense enough that it is difficult to drink more than a crowler in a sitting

This is a great example of this bastardized style. Unfortunately im not a fan of the style. Strong juicy fruit aromas and flavors, heavy on pineapple, which im not a fan of. Also great mouthfeel, i try my hard to rate on style which this hit very well. But still dont like the style.

12oz goblet on-tap. I'm on the liquid diet
Very cloudy honey color with almost no head. Very light smell. Feel is creamy and smooth, but with apparent carbonation. Very fruity IPA, all I can taste is pineapple and grapefruit (not like that's a bad thing) with very subtle pine backing. A very fruity beer, not very bitter, but I still find it tasty.
Miss me with that lactose

Pours a slight hazed light golden color. Smell had tropical hops and malt. Taste was fruity with hops and sweet malts. Mouth feel was thin and with watered down tropical hops, low bitterness. More like a session IPA than a Milkshake IPA, not recommended for the style.

Too bitter. Not juicy or fruit enough. Not really a milkshake ipa. It’s okay.

Pours a hazy pineapple yellow with a thin white cap that recedes rather quickly leaving minimal lacing. The aroma is mangos and pineapple. Flavor follows the nose with very little bitterness. Lactose is also present. Feel is thick and chewy with adequate carbonation. A decent beer from a new local brewery.
